Useful Resources

This list is like an old preacher's library, not very well organized, but, there is good stuff there.

The book by Robert Coleman, The Master Plan for Evangelism, is a classic. You can find free pdf copy here

Here is a summary, pdf, of the Dan Allender book, Leading with a Limp, that I mentioned.

I gave you a caution about this book. Sometime after writing this Hybels sinned in a way that caused his removal from ministry (A lesson in itself), however, I include this summary of his book, Courageous Leadership because it is an excellent book, https://coindy.squarespace.com/s/Leading_With_A_Limp.pdf

I mentioned Two books in Session 2:

  • Anderson, Dr. Daniel L.. Biblical Slave Leadership: A Stewardship from Above to Lead from Below. Regular Baptist Press.
  • Bremner, Dave. Images of Leadership:Biblical Portraits of Godly Leaders. Oasis International Ltd.
I couldn't find a link to get at these for free. I encourage you to read them, if you can get them.

Eidersheim is wordy. Bring your lunch. But, he is worth reading.

John Piper, Brothers We are not Professionals, is a challenge to the corporate view of Christian Ministry. There is also an update. I don't have the URL handy. Post it in the comments if you find it.
